Scott Riker, a proficient Financial Controller has experience of more than two decades in handling the diverse areas of finance industry. Based in New Jersey, he has worked with top most companies and meticulously served all of his duties and responsibilities. Currently, he is serving the prestigious position of Financial Controller in a Construction Company named as Central Consulting and Contracting. Founded in 1986 by one of the most experienced executive teams in the construction industry, Central is uniquely capable of executing almost any type of construction project.  This company has served major clients including hospitals, private medical offices, media companies, corporations, financial firms and hotels.

Scott Riker took over a wide variety of tasks at different organizations and handled them with the best of his skills and expertise. He has completed his studies in BS Accounting from Ramapo College, Marwah in New Jersey in the year 1990. He has great expertise in technical arena which includes Great Plains, MRI software, Yardi, Timberline, Microsoft Dynamics, Peachtree Quantum software, Oracle, Solomon, SAP, FRX Reporting, MAS90, MAS200 Quickbooks, and AS400 accounting systems.  

Despite having professional commitments, Scott Riker takes out time for playing his favorite sport- hockey. He is a good player of hockey and plays it on a regular basis. For him, hockey is something that rejuvenates him completely physically and mentally. He also does community service at Hawthorne Gospel Church. He is also associated with Breast Cancer Foundation.

Scott Riker has a successful career of more than twenty years as a financial controller. He holds a BS Accounting degree from Ramapo College, Mahwah, New Jersey. Besides an excellent academic background, what makes Scott an ingenious professional is his comprehensive industry knowledge. He is proficient with a wide range of advanced technologies, such as Peachtree Quantum software, Timberline, Yardi, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Solomon, Great Plains, MRI software, SAP, FRX Reporting,  MAS200 Quickbooks, MAS90, and AS400 accounting systems. 

Scott Riker has worked with many leading organizations in the country. The last company he worked with was Target Media Co. as a Financial Controller. He worked there for over eight years and diligently handled multiple responsibilities, including:

• Month end close and account reconciliation’s for two entities.
• Consolidation of Financials and P&L’s for both these entities.
• Payment requisitions for vendors.
• Gross Profit reconciliation.
• Managed Cash Flow for different Business Accounts
• Track project costs & expenses for jobs, labor and time.
• Prepared and reviewed Sales Reports for commission basis

In addition to these duties, Scott Riker was responsible for performing many other tasks. Apart from Target Media Co., Scott has also worked with companies, like Group USA, Inc.; Team Construction Inc.; and Roberts Properties, Inc... Currently, he works as a Controller in Central Consulting & Contracting, an established construction company in New York.
