Scott Riker is a New Jersey based financial controller working in the construction industry. In the past, he has worked at Target Media Co. for more than eight years. His key responsibilities in the company included consolidating Financials and P&L’s for both entities, handling payment requisitions for vendors, managing Cash Flow for various Business Accounts, and providing plans for annual budgeting and planning for long term company goals. In additional to these tasks, he was also responsible for the budget objectives by checking expenses & analyzing the variances between accounts to ensure accuracy. Besides that, he established the company’s financial procedures and also handled job costing budgets.
Scott Riker has also worked as a Controller at Team Products International, a Parsippany, New Jersey based company. Here, he performed Month-end and Year-end closing, managed the Department of 8 people including A/R & A/P, and also assisted with cash flows and budgets for management purposes.
Scott Riker holds a BS Accounting degree from the Rutgers University, New Jersey. He holds excellent computer skills and is proficient with MRI software, Yardi, Timberline, Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Peachtree Quantum software, Oracle, Solomon, FRX Reporting, MAS90, MAS200 Quickbooks, & AS400 accounting systems.
